Dr. Sandler was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is currently a dentist with private practices in Narberth and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been in practice for over 28 years, and is an active member of the Philadelphia community.

Dr. Sandler attended the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1973. He continued his studies at Temple University's College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1977.

In conjunction with his practice, Dr. Sandler was a clinical instructor at Temple University and at the Community College in Philadelphia, where he specialized in prosthetics and dental hygiene.

Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Sandler served in the United States Army, as a Specialist in the Medical Corps.
