. . Judge John T. Robinson ---
Judge Robinson was born in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, in 1951, and raised in New Cumberland and Sunbury. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Vincent College in 1973 and from Villanova School of Law in 1976.

He served as an Assistant District Attorney for Montgomery County under the Hon. William T. Nicholas from 1976 to 1978, when he returned to the Central Susquehanna Valley. In 1979 he served as Law Clerk for the 17th Judicial District and established a private practice of law. That same year, at the age of 28 he was elected District Attorney of Snyder County, which Office he held through four terms, concluding in 1996. While District Attorney, Judge Robinson served on the PDAA Executive Committee, was the Chairperson of the PDAA ethics committee and its computer committee. He was also a regular lecturer in criminal law for the PDAI and PBI.

In 1999, Judge Robinson was elected Magisterial District Judge in the 17th Judicial District and was re-elected in 2005. He is a past District President of the SCJAP. From 2002 to 2008, Judge Robinson served as a Member of the Pennsylvania Criminal Procedural Rules Committee.

Over the past 30 years, Judge Robinson has also maintained an active private practice of law in Selinsgrove, has served his community as President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of Selinsgrove Projects, Inc., President of the Shamokin Dam Lions Club, and as a Board Member on various Public and Private organizations dealing with substance abuse and those with mental challenges.

Judge Robinson is an Adjunct Lecturer on various legal topics at Susquehanna University and a yearly participant in ITAP at Widener Law School.
