Past Judge Christine L. Donohue
Christine L. Donohue is a shareholder and practice manager in the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group. She has extensive trial experience and handles business litigation, including matters involving healthcare and health insurance, banking and professional liability and intellectual property disputes. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Third Circuit and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Ms. Donohue is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and has been recognized by American Lawyer Media's Pennsylvania Law Weekly as one of the state's "women leaders in the legal profession." Ms. Donohue is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County (Pennsylvania). She is a past Chair of the Pennsylvania State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a past President of the 1,200-member Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Donohue was a two-term member of the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and is a former Chairperson of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners. She also served as a commissioned judge on the Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline. Ms. Donohue is a delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Allegheny County Bar Association and past chair of its Young Lawyers Division. In addition to prior service as an adjunct professor at the Duquesne University School of Law, Ms. Donohue lectures for bar and industry associations, including the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. She is a 1980 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, and was a recent decisions editor for the Duquesne Law Review.
